Either these islands only existed for a very short time, or they were already nixed at the point in time that this map came from. Most interesting to me is that Gillijim Isle and the Island of Dr. ![]() It appears that blackrock mountain may have been a bit further situated, south-west of its in-game location. The landmass that contains Stormwind has a whole chunk of land that does not appear in any leaked client. Zooming in on that map shows quite a few interesting things that aren't so apparent on first glance. There also happen to be models and textures for store signs, likely from the original iteration of Goldshire. I guess I passed over the flightmap textures. I've gone through practically all the files in the 0.5.3 alpha. I have to wonder how I managed to miss that. ![]()
